BEPInterested in volunteering a few hours of your time this summer? The Business Education Partnership of Sangamon County and Family Service Center are partnering to increase community volunteer support with Family Service Center’s Camp Compass summer program. This is a program for homeless and low-income elementary students of Springfield School District 186. Camp Compass is designed to focus on improving reading and math skills to prevent learning loss over the summer months, ensuring the students return to school on the first day “ready to learn.” If you are interested, please contact Sarah Graham with The Chamber.

3:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Downtown Springfield

Groups of 3-4 people for 2 hours navigated their way through the nooks and cranny’s of downtown bars to match the provided pictures to the name of the bar it belongs to.   This was a competition, so the team with the most correct answers won a GRAND PRIZE!

Note: You do not have to be a full team to play, we can match you up with others. If your team registers separately, please enter in the comments who your team members are or send an email to ypspringfield@gmail.com.

“…After reformatting my resume, a day later I started receiving interview invitations on monster after I uploaded it. One of them led me to my current job. It was an amazing experience being head hunted by a company rather than sending out dozens of applications to no avail,”  -YSPN Member
